— UNDERSTANDING HAIR RESTORATION
Think of your follicles as plants, and your scalp as the soil.
If the soil is stressed, inflamed, depleted, or not well supported, the plants may not grow as well. PRFM and exosome-based scalp support help create a healthier scalp environment so the follicles you still have can function more optimally over time. We evaluate your pattern of thinning, when it started, stress levels, hormonal changes, nutrition, scalp health, and long-term goals, then build a customized plan.
01
PRFM Hair Restoration
$925 per session
PRFM, or platelet-rich fibrin matrix, uses a small sample of your own blood processed to concentrate platelets, fibrin, and growth factors. These are then placed into areas of thinning on the scalp using your body's own natural repair signals to support healthier follicle activity, improve the appearance of hair density, and encourage stronger-looking hair over time.
Most clients begin with a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Clinical studies have reported measurable improvements in hair density over 3 to 6 months, with some early responses within 1 to 2 months. PRFM is typically best for clients who still have active follicles present — it may be less effective in areas that are completely bald, shiny, scarred, or long inactive. Arrive well hydrated on the day of your appointment as a blood draw is required.
02
Exosome Scalp Support
Pricing at consultation
Exosome-based scalp support is a newer regenerative option that works differently from PRFM. Rather than using concentrated blood components, exosomes act as tiny biological messengers that help support communication between cells. When applied to the scalp, they may help support scalp health, follicle function, and overall hair quality by improving the environment the follicles live in.
Early research shows promising improvements in hair count, thickness, and density in certain groups, particularly in early-stage thinning. As an emerging treatment, we present exosome scalp support as a supportive regenerative option rather than a guaranteed solution. It may be considered for clients seeking additional scalp-environment support, or those who are not ideal candidates for a blood-draw-based treatment.
03
Xtresse Supplement Support
Recommended at consultation
When appropriate, daily supplementation with Xtresse may be recommended as part of a more comprehensive hair-health plan. Xtresse is a dermatologist-developed, biotin-free, drug-free, and sugar-free supplement formulated with ingredients including NAD+, pumpkin seed extract, taurine, saw palmetto, ashwagandha, horsetail extract, turmeric extract, and pea sprout extract.
Supplements are not a replacement for medical evaluation or in-office treatment, but they may help support hair health from within between visits — addressing hair wellness from multiple angles simultaneously as part of a broader plan. Whether Xtresse is appropriate for you will be discussed at your consultation.
— OUR APPROACH
A multi-modal plan, not a one-treatment fix.
Many conventional hair treatments focus on a single pathway: a daily topical product, an oral medication, or a supplement. Those options can be helpful for the right person, but hair thinning is often influenced by multiple factors.
Our regenerative approach looks at the bigger picture. We evaluate your pattern of thinning, when it started, stress levels, hormonal changes, nutrition, recent illness, medications, postpartum history, scalp health, lifestyle, and long-term goals.
The result is a customized plan not a one-size-fits-all protocol. And we keep expectations honest: results vary from person to person, and no regenerative treatment can guarantee a specific outcome.
01
We look at the bigger picture
Before recommending any treatment, we evaluate your pattern of thinning, when it started, stress levels, hormonal changes, nutrition, recent illness, medications, postpartum history, scalp health, lifestyle, and long-term goals, not just the hair itself.
02
In-office and at-home together
PRFM and exosome scalp treatments address the follicle environment directly during your appointments. Supplements like Xtresse support daily hair wellness from within between visits. The most effective plans address both.
03
Honest about timelines and expectations
Hair grows in cycles. Results are gradual and should be tracked over months, not days or weeks. We set realistic expectations from the beginning and never promise outcomes that regenerative treatments cannot deliver.
04
Active follicles matter
Regenerative treatments support what is already there. They cannot reactivate completely dormant or scarred follicles. The best candidates are clients with active follicles still present in areas of thinning, which is assessed at your consultation.
— RESULTS & TIMELINES
Hair grows in cycles.
Patience is part of the plan.
Results are gradual and should be tracked over months, not weeks. We recommend baseline photos and consistent documentation. Early responses may be seen within 1 to 2 months, but meaningful density changes are typically evaluated at 3 to 6 months.
TREATMENT SERIES
3-4 sessions to start
PRFM and exosome hair treatments are typically begun as a series of 3 to 4 sessions, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Maintenance may be recommended based on your response and ongoing goals.
EARLY RESPONSE
1-2 months
Some clients notice reduced shedding or early changes in hair quality within the first 1 to 2 months. Clinical studies on platelet-rich fibrin treatments have reported early responses in this window.
MEANINGFUL ASSESSMENT
3-6 months
More meaningful improvements in hair density and thickness are typically evaluated at 3 to 6 months. Exosome research remains emerging. We present these as supportive options with honest expectations.

Understanding Hair Restoration
A helpful way to think about it is this: your hair follicles are like plants, and your scalp is the soil. If the soil is stressed, inflamed, depleted, or not well supported, the plants may not grow as well. Regenerative scalp treatments — whether PRFM or exosome-based — work by improving the environment around the follicle, supporting healthier follicle activity and hair growth from the ground up rather than forcing a result.
The best candidates are typically clients with active follicles still present, early-to-moderate thinning, realistic expectations, and a willingness to stay consistent with their treatment plan. Regenerative treatments are generally most effective for clients experiencing early thinning, increased shedding, a widening part line, postpartum-related shedding, stress-related or hormonal thinning, and age-related or pattern-related thinning. They are less effective in areas that are completely bald, shiny, or where follicles have been long inactive. Candidacy will always be assessed at your consultation.
Conventional treatments like minoxidil (Rogaine) or finasteride work through a single pathway — topical stimulation or hormonal suppression. They can be effective for the right person, but they require ongoing daily use and do not address the underlying scalp environment. Our regenerative approach looks at the bigger picture — evaluating your thinning pattern, hormonal factors, stress, nutrition, scalp health, and lifestyle before building a plan. PRFM and exosome treatments work directly at the scalp and follicle level using your body's own biology, rather than relying on daily topical or oral medication.
Hair thinning can be influenced by many factors — often several at once. Common contributors include hormonal changes, postpartum shifts, stress, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid function, medications, genetics, and the natural aging process. This is why a thorough intake is an important first step — understanding the likely drivers of your thinning helps us build a plan that actually addresses what is happening, rather than applying the same protocol to every client.
PRFM Hair Restoration
A small blood draw is taken at the beginning of the appointment — similar to a routine blood test. The sample is processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and fibrin into PRFM. A topical numbing solution is applied to the scalp while the sample is prepared. The PRFM is then injected into areas of thinning on the scalp using a fine needle. The full appointment typically takes about 60 to 90 minutes. Arriving well hydrated on the day of your appointment makes the blood draw easier and more comfortable.
Topical numbing is applied to the scalp before injections begin, which significantly reduces discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure or a light prickling. The scalp may feel tender or sensitive for 24 to 48 hours after treatment. Individual comfort levels vary, and any concerns about the process can always be discussed before your appointment begins.
Before your appointment, arrive well hydrated and avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements such as ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oil, and alcohol for 24 to 48 hours if medically appropriate. After treatment, avoid washing your hair for at least 24 hours, avoid strenuous exercise and heat for 24 hours, and avoid harsh chemical treatments such as color or relaxers for at least one week. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment.
Hair grows in cycles, which means results are gradual and should be tracked over months rather than weeks. Some clients notice a reduction in shedding or early changes in hair quality within the first 1 to 2 months. More meaningful improvements in density and thickness are typically evaluated at 3 to 6 months after beginning a treatment series. Baseline photos are strongly recommended so progress can be tracked consistently over time.
Most clients begin with a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments may be recommended based on your response, goals, and ongoing hair-health needs — typically every 6 to 12 months once the initial series is complete. Your personalized treatment plan will be discussed and adjusted at each visit based on how your hair and scalp are responding.
Exosome Scalp Support
Exosomes are tiny extracellular vesicles — essentially small packets of biological information — that act as messengers between cells, carrying signals that support repair, regeneration, and cellular communication. When applied to the scalp, exosomes may help improve the scalp environment, support follicle function, and encourage healthier hair quality. They are a newer option in regenerative aesthetics, with early research showing promising results particularly in early-stage thinning. We present exosome scalp support transparently as an emerging treatment with growing evidence rather than an established solution.
PRFM uses your own blood components — concentrated platelets and fibrin — to deliver growth factors directly to the scalp. It has a longer clinical track record and is generally considered the more established option. Exosome scalp support uses lab-derived extracellular vesicles that carry regenerative signals to support the scalp environment. Exosomes do not require a blood draw, making them a viable option for clients who prefer to avoid that step. In some cases, combining both treatments may be recommended for a more comprehensive approach. Your consultation will help determine which is most appropriate for your goals and candidacy.
Xtresse & Supplements
High-dose biotin supplementation is known to interfere with certain lab tests — particularly thyroid function tests and cardiac biomarker tests — which can produce falsely abnormal or falsely normal results. Because hair thinning is often evaluated in the context of broader health markers, and because many clients with hair loss are also having bloodwork done, a biotin-free formulation avoids this interference. Xtresse is formulated without biotin to support hair health without affecting lab test accuracy.
Xtresse can be used independently as a daily hair-health supplement, but it is most effective as part of a broader plan that also addresses the scalp and follicle environment directly. Supplements support hair wellness from within between visits — they are not a replacement for medical evaluation or in-office treatment, and no supplement can guarantee a specific outcome. If you are considering Xtresse, we recommend discussing it at your consultation so we can assess whether it is an appropriate fit for your goals.
General
Yes — hair restoration treatments are commonly part of a broader aesthetic plan that also includes facial injectables, regenerative aesthetics, or skin treatments. Scheduling and sequencing will be discussed at your consultation to ensure treatments are timed appropriately and complement your overall goals.
Postpartum hair shedding — known as telogen effluvium — is one of the most common reasons clients come in for hair restoration consultations. It occurs as hormone levels shift after delivery, causing a larger number of hairs to enter the shedding phase simultaneously. For many clients, postpartum shedding resolves on its own within 6 to 12 months. For others, it can persist or reveal an underlying thinning pattern. A consultation will help determine whether in-office regenerative treatment is appropriate at this stage, or whether supportive supplementation and a monitoring plan is the better first step. We will always give you an honest recommendation based on where you are in the postpartum timeline.
A complimentary consultation is always the right first step — especially if this is your first time exploring treatment options. Hair thinning is a sensitive concern and there is no one-size-fits-all answer. The consultation is a no-pressure opportunity to discuss your history, review your pattern of thinning, understand your options honestly, and decide together whether and how to move forward. There is no obligation to book treatment at that visit.
